Privacy Statement
The Law Journal of the National Academy of Internal Affairs complies with the principles of personal data protection and confidentiality in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and international standards.
Confidentiality and Access
The Editorial Office guarantees that personal data will not be disclosed to third parties without the consent of the data subject, except in cases required by law. Access to such information is restricted to staff members who are directly involved in the publishing process.
Authors submitting manuscripts to this journal bear personal responsibility for the accuracy and correctness of any data relating to individuals involved in their research. The Editorial Office and all participants in the publishing process are committed to upholding strict professional standards of data protection. In particular, the journal complies with the provisions of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which safeguards the rights of data subjects. These rights include the right to be informed of breaches, the right of access, the right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”), the right to data portability, and the principle of “privacy by design.”
At the same time, the GDPR recognises the importance of the public interest in ensuring access to scientific data, which is essential for maintaining the integrity and transparency of the scholarly record.
